To Our Valued Patients,
We hope you and your families have stayed healthy and sane during this crazy time. Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone who have been affected by COVID-19. Our priority and focus continue to be the safety, health, and comfort of our patients, our team, and our community. We thank you for your patience and your understanding as we navigate through these very challenging times which in many ways will change the way we practice. Our office will re-open for routine eye exams on June 8th. We are working diligently and thoughtfully to implement new protocols recommended by our state and local health organizations and the AOA (American Optometric Association) to ensure the safety of everyone. We have missed the interactions with our patients and we look forward to seeing your half-covered faces very soon! PLEASE REFER TO WEBSITE FOR NEW PROTOCOLS.
For your safety, we have implemented the following protocols:
*Eye exams and ordering new glasses are by appointments only to allow social distancing and time for proper cleaning after each patient.
*Your temperature will be taken when you check-in. Please feel free to use the hand sanitizer we have throughout the office.
*Curbside dispensing is available. You may schedule an appointment for adjustments and minor repairs if necessary OR you may schedule your dispensing.
*Contact Lens orders may be placed over the phone or via email and will be directly shipped to your home.
*Screening: When you schedule your appointment and again during the confirmation of your appointment you will be asked a few questions to determine if you’ve been impacted by COVID-19. If you or anyone in your household experience flu-like symptoms in the last 2 weeks (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat, loss of taste or smell…etc) or have traveled recently, we ask that you reschedule your appointment.
*You will need to complete the usual patient medical history forms on-line before your appointment to limit physical contact in the office.
*Face coverings are required to enter the office. If you don’t have one, please let us know in advance and one will be provided for you.
*Limited Entry: Due to Social Distancing, we ask that you show up to your appointment alone if possible (with the exceptions of minors and caregivers). Please be on time for your appointment! We will do our best to see all of our patients on time.
*When you arrived at your appointment, we encourage you to call us @ (925)406-4887 to ensure we are ready for you due to Social Distancing. We will let you know if you can come on in.
*Our staff will be wearing protective gear such as masks and gloves to minimize physical contact.
*Our staff will have their temperature taken each morning. Anyone who exhibits symptoms will be asked to stay home. They may return to work upon approval by a physician.
*We will keep the waiting room free from magazines and goodies. Our staff will disinfect all patient areas thoroughly after each patient throughout the day with an EPA certified and approved disinfectant.
